3700 block of South Ellis
Wanted for Attempted Abduction of a Child
On January 28, 2008 at approximately 3:45 pm, a 4 door blue Ford or Mercury sedan approached a 13 year old female victim, who was walking in the 3700 block of South Ellis. The driver called the victim to his vehicle, but she ignored his demands. The offender drove away, then returned to the block, exited his car and grabbed the female victim. When the victim screamed, the offender displayed a knife and fled the scene.

Last month, the City Council granted the Department of Planning and Development the authority to begin the acquisition process of 22 parcels located just west of Lake Shore Drive, between 26th and 31st Streets. The additional properties lie to the north between 25th and 27th Streets, west of Lake Park Avenue and east of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
