Wells Street in the South Loop
Wells Street improvement project
The Chicago Department of Transportation is improving Wells Street in the South Loop. Construction crews will resurface Wells from Polk to 9th Streets, and add a new sewer main. From 9th to Roosevelt Road, crews will completely rebuild and pave the roadway, and add water and sewer mains.

Indiana Avenue, Clarke House is the City’s oldest home. Harrison Street bridge
Harrison bridge repair work
City crews are repairing the Harrison Street bridge over the South Branch of the Chicago River. During the work, which is repairing the bridge and superstructure, the bridge will be closed to westbound traffic. It will remain open to eastbound traffic. One sidewalk will remain open throughout the project.
