Woodlawn Ave. in order to redevelop and enlarge the park from .38 acres to 1.25 acres in size. The City would use the old park facility as part of a proposed affordable housing development project. The Park district has committed $400,000 to the park’s development.

  Two male black offenders approached lone female victims walking down the street, usually between 8:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. display a handgun, announce a robbery and force the victim to the ground and then take her purse. These crimes have occurred in the area of 7900 to 8100 South and Langley to Ingleside Avenues.
