Listed here are the results of the Roadside Safety Check conducted by Chicago Police Department in the 7th District at 6400 S. Ashland Avenue on December 29, 2007. "The purpose of the program is to apprehend drivers who are operating vehicles while under the influence of alcohol or drugs," said Interim Superintendent Dana V. Starks. "The program also offers an opportunity to issue citations to drivers who are otherwise a hazard to themselves and others on the public way."
