Now that it's cold outside, I haven't been able to find many activities to do with my furry friend. I loved going to the dog parks and beaches over the summer, but now that it's winter, where are some good places to go? Are there any indoor dog park type places in or near the neighborhood? Thanks!

  • Canine Crews offers a Sunday Bark Park indoors in their facility. There is a small fee to attend for 2 hours- but they have dog handlers on hand to help maintain a safe environment as well as a dog trainer to answer any questions! I highly recommend checking them out on Sundays!

  • Canine crews sunday bark park is from 10am-noon and is $10 a dog, max 2 dogs. Bring vet/ shot records. It's defintely a fun time for the dogs

Barkavenue Playcare on Fulton and Damen also does playtime for the public on weekends.

Logan Pets used to do a weekend play/indoor "park" but not sure if they still do.

  • Harmless, really... ...but you never know.

Hello, Doggie! on Lawrence just east of California has drop-in doggie playtime/daycare, but you drop your dog off, you don't get to play. Very reasonable, though, and if getting your dog some playtime is the goal, I love this place!

And Hello, Doggie offers this EVERY DAY til 7pm!
