Rock Throwing from CTA Clinton Green Line Platform

There has been repeated incidents of rocks the size of bricks being thrown off the CTA Clinton Street Green Line Platform during the early morning hours. The incidents have been reoccurring sporadically since the Spring of 2011. Typically incidents have occurred between 4am-5am on Monday mornings with some variance. Targets have been vehicles parked below the platform resulting in smashed windshields and other damage. No pedestrians have been reported being targeted yet. The CTA and CPD are aware of the incidents but platform video has proven ineffective due to the suspect wearing obscuring clothing.
