There are two proposed new ward maps, one is proposed by Ald. Mell known as the "Tax Payer Protection Map", the other by the Hispanic caucus.

I made a google map of the changes going from the text provided for Ald Mell's version. It was a bit confusing, like going "southerly from Waveland to Grace", did the best I could, please point out any errors as I am sure they exist.

Personally I like it, it puts all of the area historically known as Uptown in the same ward and eliminates all of that Lawrence Ave. boundary confusion. The text I followed is below, here is a link to the map I made, inspired by Rogers Parker Kyle Hilman:
